How does the IP work?
As part of the vision and core concerns, our work is based on an integral vision of the future. It brings a new style to politics, communication as well as to being and working together.
Carrying the Integral World View Into Politics and Society
We are a community of people who want to contribute to the further development of society – towards an integral vision for the benefit of all living beings.
We organize events to promote the integral vision and raise people’s awareness of cooperation, openness and wholeness.
We learn together in encounters and through our publications.
We examine political proposals from an integral perspective, making recommendations.
By participating in the political process, we want to bring an integral political perspective to the legislative and executive branches in order to overcome polarization.
Integral Political Position-Finding
The IP pursues a vision-oriented policy. Vision-oriented means that an integral political assessment is always based on abundance and not on deficiency and is therefore not satisfied with correcting what already exists.
The IP bases its recommendations on whether the political initiative or the proposed legislative and constitutional amendment corresponds to the future vision of an ideal integral society, and it deliberately draws on heart intelligence for its assessment.
We evaluate political issues with the specially developed and tried-and-tested methodical approach of the integralization method. The two core elements of this method consist on comparing the actual situation with the visionary target state and on including the four aspects of our existence. We consider the instinctive, emotional, rational and intuitive-spiritual aspects of existence as equally important. We strive to include all of them in our discussions and decisions. The IP is thus able to contribute a convincing insight and a unifying element to the polarizing, emotional-rational opinions and arguments of left-right politics.
A New Style of Community and Collaboration
Our culture of conversation, our being and working together and our communication are based on an integral life practice. This means that we always act from a constructive, life-affirming responsibility and from the intelligence of the heart. In addition to concrete political concerns, as a movement we are also striving to foster the development of consciousness – both individually and collectively. We want to contribute to the transformation of society through our own development.
Self-Organization
Our structure in the form of self-organization also cultivates a new style in the political landscape. It is less hierarchical and responsibility and leadership are distributed among the members. We align our collaboration with our vision and our core concerns and operate within defined processes and roles.
Our organizational form requires and encourages openness, the ability to cooperate and create, as well as personal initiative and the assumption of responsibility.

The IP approach is still new in the Swiss and global political landscape. And even though we are still rather small at the moment, we are convinced that this approach is not only the change, but also the future.
